Steve has lived a fascinating life. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and was drafted during the Vietnam War, ultimately enlisting in the United States Air Force. As a trained Management Analyst, he played a key role in coordinating the rebuilding of airfields, scheduling pilot training, and preparing briefings for commanders.
Fast forward to his post-service career, where he began as a manager trainee at a jewelry store. It was there that he crossed paths with a master watchmaker and jeweler, Frank, under whom he was fortunate to apprentice for two years. This serendipitous mentorship led him to open his own jewelry store, now known today as S.J. Moore Jewelers. Steve also has a charming Art Gallery nestled behind the jewelry store. It is a bit of a hidden gem in the heart of Skaneateles. The 300 foot space showcases a lot of unique artwork curated from his personal collection. |
